MicroMemory, LLC, a leading provider of board-level products for Real Time Embedded Systems and Enterprise Network Storage, has been acquired by VMETRO ASA (Oslo Exhchange:VME.OL). Based in Chatsworth, California, Micro Memory’s dense board designs are combined with robust, reconfigured FPGA IP to satisfy demanding signal processing applications for aerospace and defense primes and leading OEMs. The Umem line of NVRAM products are high performance, random access storage devices for server and storage appliance providers.

VMETRO is one of the world`s leading suppliers of embedded computers and systems providing integrators in the SIGINT, EW, telecom and imaging areas with products and services from development through deployment. Products include I/O and digital signal processing systems, ruggedized storage and recording solutions, and advanced bus and protocol analyzers.

VMETRO acquired all outstanding shares of Micro Memory in a cash and stock transaction valued at $16.3 million. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to Micro Memory.
