Precision Engine Controls Corporation (“PECC”), a leading designer and manufacturer of engine control systems, has been acquired by Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). Based in San Diego, California, PECC is a leading designer and manufacturer of valves, fuel control valves, electric actuators, metering valves and control systems for use in gas turbine engines and systems for the energy, oil & gas, marine and defense markets. PECC is a supplier of gas turbine engine control systems to major gas turbine manufacturers including Solar Turbines, Kawasaki, Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney. It is also the engine control systems manufacturer for the US Marine LCAC Hovercraft.

Hamilton Sundstrand is one of the world’s largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products, systems and integrated solutions for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft as well as international space programs.
