Woodward Governor Company (Nasdaq:WGOV) has divested Baker Electrical Products, Inc., to LDI, Inc. Baker is a Memphis, Michigan based designer and manufacturer of solenoids and coils used in braking systems, vehicular control and other applications in the automotive and heavy vehicle markets. LDI is a manufacturer of solenoids, motorized actuators and electromechanical clutch systems.
Woodward is the world’s largest independent designer and manufacturer of energy control solutions for aircraft and industrial engines, turbines and power equipment. Woodward’s products and services are used in the aerospace, power generation, oil and gas, rail, marine and industrial markets.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to Woodward.
