Allen Osborne Associates, Inc. (“AOA”), a specialist in high performance Global Positioning Systems (“GPS”), has been acquired by ITT Industries, Inc. (NYSE:ITT). Based in Westlake Village, California, AOA designs and manufactures high performance GPS products for precise time and frequency transfer, surveying, ionsopheric calibration and military receivers. AOA key products include Selective Anti-spoofing Modules, BenchMark and Rascal receivers, time transfer and monitor station receivers, TurboSurvey software and antennas. AOA will become a unit of the ITT Aerospace & Communications division.
ITT supplies advanced technology products and services in key markets including: fluid and water management including water treatment; defense communication, opto-electronics, information technology and services; electronic interconnects and switches; and other specialty products.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to AOA.
