Canal Forest Resources, Inc. (“Canal”), a subsidiary of Canal Holdings, LLC, has been acquired by American Forest Management, LLC (“AFM”). Canal is a consulting firm focusing primarily on land and data management for timberland investment management organizations. Canal has a strong presence in the Southeast forestry industry.
AFM is one of the largest forest consulting and real estate brokerage firms in the United States.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to Canal Holdings, LLC.
