Canyon Engineering Products, Inc. (“Canyon”) has been acquired by ESCO Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ESE). Based in Valencia, California, Canyon is a designer and manufacturer of valves, pumps, nozzles and other precision fluid control solutions. Canyon will become part of the ESCO Technologies Filtration and Fluid Flow division.
Canyon supplies precision controls for many aircraft system types to aerospace market OEM customers as well as system integrators and sub-tier suppliers. Canyon controls are flying aboard a wide variety of aircraft including the latest commercial transports such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A-350, military aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. Canyon also provides fluid control devices to the power generation, commercial gas engine, subsea and industrial process markets.
ESCO Technologies, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a supplier of special purpose utility solutions and advanced metering solutions for electric, gas and water utilities. ESCO Technologies is also a provider of engineered filtration and flow control products to the aerospace and process markets worldwide and is a leader in RF shielding and EMC test products.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner, LLC served as advisor to Canyon.
