CDS Analytical, Inc. (“CDS” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer of front end laboratory instruments used for sample preparation, has been acquired by Cetac Technologies. Based in Oxford, Pennsylvania, CDS designs and manufactures complex sample preparation and injection systems for use with Gas Chromatography (“GC”) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (“GCMS”) systems. CDS has a full offering of sample preparation systems including pyrolysis, purge and trap, thermal desorption and dynamic headspace, and is the world’s technology and market share leader in pyrolysis systems. CDS systems expand the traditional applicability of GC and GCMS platforms by allowing solvent free analysis of organic solids, liquids and trace level volatile organic compounds in any matrix including air, water and solids. The Company’s systems are used in multiple markets including industrial, energy and defense.
Cetac Technologies, based in Omaha, Nebraska, is a world leader in sample handling and sample introduction equipment for elemental analysis.
