Echotek Corporation, a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, high speed data acquisition products, has been acquired by Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:MRCY). As a specialist in mixed signal design and conversion, Echotek produces a market-leading portfolio of board-level products for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion, high performance input/output and specialized digital signal processing. Echotek products are key to sensor-based computing systems for defense applications such as radar, digital radio and signals intelligence. Other end markets are beamforming, medical imaging, commercial data acquisition systems and electronic test instrumentation. Echotek has a comprehensive product line in various form factors including PCI, VME, and PMC. Echotek also supports RACEway and RapidIO(R) fabrics. Echotek is based in Huntsville, Alabama.

Mercury Computer Systems is the leading provider of high-performance embedded, real-time digital signal and image processing computer systems. Mercury systems transform sensor data into information for analysis and are used in military reconnaissance and surveillance platforms to process real-time radar, sonar, and signals intelligence data, as well as in other industrial, medical, and defense communications applications.
