John D. Hollingsworth on Wheels, Inc. (“Hollingsworth”), a Greenville, South Carolina based designer, manufacturer, servicer and tester of textile equipment manufacturing equipment, has divested its international operations to Trutzschler GmbH & Co. KG. Hollingsworth operates multiple international production facilities in Germany, Brazil and Mexico that manufacture a full range of card and roller card clothing equipment for the spinning and nonwovens industries. Hollingsworth also has a network of equipment service centers spread across Europe. The international operations will become operating units of the Trutzschler Card Clothing division.
Trutzschler is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of textiles production machinery for the spinning, nonwovens and card clothing markets.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to Hollingsworth.
