Moog Inc.’s Northbrook business unit (“Quickset”) has been sold to Quickset Defense Technologies, LLC.
Based in Northbrook, Illinois, Quickset, a Moog Space and Defense Group business, designs and manufactures precision positioners, integrated surveillance systems and assemblies for military, security, industrial and commercial customers. Products include pan and tilt positioners, motion control systems and ruggedized military and industrial-grade tripods. Quickset is known for its proprietary, high quality, precision pointing and control systems.
Quickset’s products are critical components of complex systems used for RF/satellite communications, manned and unmanned aircraft tracking/telemetry, counter unmanned aerial system, troop protection, perimeter security, asset protection, border protection, unmanned ground vehicles, missile defense systems and persistent surveillance (military and environmental applications).
