TW Garner Food Company, Inc. has acquired Hume Specialties, Inc., the maker of Green Mountain Gringo Salsa and Tortilla Strips. Located in Chester, Vermont, Green Mountain Gringo is a manufacturer of high end shelf stable salsas and tortilla strips made with all fresh ingredients. The Company has six products sold nationwide through natural foods stores and the mass grocery market.
TW Garner is the manufacturer and distributor of “Texas Pete” brand sauces and foods as well as “Garners” jams, jellies and preserves.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Philpott Ball & Werner served as advisor to TW Garner.
